Connections: connect your site and check it · Rebilder Help
Your connection status
The badge beside the title comes from a check we run every day:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Serving detected | The latest check received an agent-readable response. Check event reporting separately. |
| Events arriving | Events are recorded, but the daily check did not receive an agent-readable response. |
| Not detected | The daily check could not find your connection. |
| Not checked yet | The daily check has not reached your site yet. |
Check now runs the same check straight away. The Connection status table lists each connection with its status, when it was last seen and the next step. How AI assistants were answered covers the last 7 days: AI visits, clean versions served and how the rest were answered.
Your site credentials
- Site ID: the value your developer sets as
storeId. It identifies your site in every visit report. - Active API key:
sha256:and the start of the key’s fingerprint, with an Active badge. The fingerprint shows which key is active. It will not work in place of the key, which we showed once, when it was created. - No API key exists yet: AI assistants can still get the clean version, but visit reporting needs a key. Choose Create an API key in Settings.
Ways to connect
- We run it: the Rebilder app for Shopify, and the plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. No code.
- Your AI agent installs it: a prompt with your site ID to paste into a coding assistant.
- By hand: Turn on visit reporting, Next.js, a Cloudflare Worker in front of a hosted site, and the Shopify app proxy for developers who host it themselves.
- Measure visits with the Tag: one line of HTML that counts visitors an AI chat sent you. It uses no cookies.
The setups for your platform come first. Links at the foot of the page open What agents see and Access control. Agent health, the third tab, lists problems the daily check found.
